OUR VOLUNTEERS
Christina volunteers as a Youth Theatre Assistant in Taunton:
“I support SYT at Taunton Youth Theatre, every Tuesday assisting where needed to ensure the children feel that they are a part of SYT. I help to promote confidence and help the children take part in the activities set by the lead artist.
I enjoy listening to the ideas the children have and being there to support them to develop their ideas further.
My favourite part of SYT is that I get to help and be part of the production by supporting those children who need a safe place to perform.
Being part of SYT means that I am learning and developing techniques to support individuals who may struggle to join in and become easily overwhelmed.
Thank-you for giving that opportunity to me.”
