Join Somerset Youth Theatre at Bridgwater Arts Centre for a darkly comic, site-specific immersive theatre experience like no other.
Now in its 10th year, writer/director Selina Keedwell brings SYT’s infamous Scary Tours which has been created with local young people to Bridgwater Arts Centre for the very first time.
Journey through the Arts Centre as a professional and community cast bring to life strange & sinister stories inspired by real and imagined tales from Bridgwater’s past.
Expect tales of old, dark comedy, jump scares, unexpected encounters and stuff-of-nightmares as the building – and its history – comes alive around you. What could possibly go wrong?
Age guidance 11+
Please note, this event tours a Grade 1 listed building and involves walking through the building, including use of stairs and small corridors.

SYT’s “Scary Tours” is back this time we have taken over a conference centre.

 

For the second consecutive year Taunton Youth Theatre Company have reached deep into their spooky creative brains and worked hard to create the immersive experience performance that is “Scary Conference Centre Tours”

Our sold out tours are back for one night only…

Tonight (Halloween) 5 back to back performance will take place at Albemarle Centre in Taunton. Our fabulous Artistic Director and Facilitator at Taunton Youth Theatre, Selina Keedwell spoke to Jenna Myles at Be Somerset about the spooky goings on.
