We are absolutely delighted to share the amazing news that we have been successful in our grant application for the development of Somerset Youth Theatre cic through Arts Council England, National Lottery Project Grants. This grant will enable us to take the organisation to the next stage, with a real focus on access and inclusion – reaching more young people across Somerset who would not normally engage in the Arts. It means that we can learn, and become better trained in supporting young people’s Mental Health and well-being. We can set up our Youth Board and connect young Artists who will help make big choices! We will work with advisors on LGBTQ+ and Arts Award. We are excited for the next stage and will continue to create brilliant and original work, in your towns and villages, by all of the brilliant young people and Artists who live in them.
